Come and join us for our FREE intergenerational celebrations.
Pride in Belper is joining up with 3 local care homes to bring you some summer fun. There will be song, story and music as well as some delicious refreshments to keep the energy flowing.
Friday 25th July at Belper Views.
Monday 28th July at Spencer Grove.
Tuesday 29th July at Holbrook Hall.
All events last one hour and start at 10.30am.
We’ll be celebrating all that is brilliant about each other and our Belper community.
The sessions are suitable for all ages and there’s no need to book, just turn up on the day and bring your super smile.

The Most Flamboyant Flamingo
On Wednesday 30th October 2024 we held a very special event at Belper Strutts Centre between 2pm and 4pm.
Life Gets Better Together saw author Troy Jenkinson deliver a session based around the new book ‘The Most Flamboyant Flamingo in the Whole Wide World’.
This is a story about how love has no one way, no one look and no one direction – it is simply a special connection between people (or flamingos in this case) that should be treasured and celebrated.
Troy delivered activities including, spot the difference, face painting, hunt the shrimp and make your own flamingo! Troy was available to answer any questions the children, or their adults had in a supportive and welcoming way.
