Getting to Pride in Belper

One of our values is sustainability and we’d love it if you arrived in an environmentally friendly way such as on public transport or walking and cycling. There are quite a few ways to get to Belper.

If you are not from the area and plan to arrive by car you can find all the car park information on Parkopedia.

If you enter Belper in the ‘Where are you going’ box, along with arrival and leaving times you will be presented with all the car parks in the town and how much it will cost. Our free car park is The Coppice on The Market Place and it may fill up quickly. On the day of the event, road closures may affect access to the car parks at certain times.

Road

Belper is situated on the A6 between Derby and Matlock.

From the South:

Leave at Junction 25 of the M1
Take the A52 into Derby
Follow the signs for the A6 to Belper.

From the North:

Leave at Junction 28 of the M1
Take the A38 south towards Derby
Take the A610 exit towards Matlock
At the A6 junction turn left to Belper.

Rail

Derby is served by East Midlands Railway and is only an hour and a half from London.
Belper is on the Matlock branch line, and is only a 10 minute journey from Derby.
