Life Gets Better Together
On Wednesday 30th October 2024 we held a very special event at Belper Strutts Centre between 2pm and 4pm.
Life Gets Better Together saw author Troy Jenkinson deliver a session based around the new book ‘The Most Fabulous Flamingo in the Whole Wide World’.
This is a story about how love has no one way, no one look and no one direction – it is simply a special connection between people (or flamingos in this case) that should be treasured and celebrated.
Troy delivered activities including, spot the difference, face painting, hunt the shrimp and make your own flamingo! Troy was available to answer any questions the children, or their adults had in a supportive and welcoming way.
The workshop was aimed at children aged 4 – 11.
